AAANZ

About

The Art Association of Australia was found in 1974 to act as a professional body representing art historians, critics, curators, artists and art students in the region.  The Executive that the manages the AAANZ has always moved from state to state and more recently New Zealand.  The regional issues that inform art history and practice have always found their place.  Our core activities are the publication of an annual scholarly journal and the management of an annual conference.  A range of book and journal prizes are coordinated by the AAANZ.
